A good great accountant - maximise your tax position with the help of someone who actually knows what they’re doing when it comes to property. It’s taken me over 20 years to find a great accountant and you can bet your bottom dollar I’m telling everyone.

A solicitor - to bail you out… jokes - a good solicitor can spot a bad transaction from a mile away. Reviewing contracts, dealing with the conveyancing and making sure due diligence is actually done diligently. 

A buyer's agent - aka God’s gift to the property industry.  Save your time scouring potential investments, negotiating the best prices, and take the stress and emotion out of buying property (because let’s be honest… that cute little cottage is gonna cost you more in plumbing than you’ll make in rent).

How much does it cost to use a mortgage broker?

My services are 100% free! 

Long story short, banks and lenders pay me to help you get the best home loan for your circumstances (and to do all the hard work behind the scenes, like getting your application ready, preparing documents & jumping through hoops).

How do you choose which loan is best for me?

I have access to over 30 banks and lenders who have their own little specialities and their own little appetites for different types of home loans. 

First and foremost, it’s my actual obligation (and job) to put your best interests first when considering which home loans are best suited to your situation & goals, so you’ll never catch me offering you a product just to get paid.  

Which comes to my next point - commission percentages are pretty standard these days so I don’t have a “go-to” lender. Every home loan is assessed based on your needs.

Do I need a mortgage broker?

Technically, no.  But if you’re in the business of saving time, money and sanity, I’d highly recommend giving me a crack. 

Apart from the fact I’m a pro interest rate-negotiator, you’ll save your precious time by dealing with one person throughout the process and not losing your shit going back and forth with lenders along the way. 

Plus, I’ll be your go-to for support throughout the life of your loan as well, in case you decide to remortgage or get the property-bug and decide a property portfolio is more your style.
